WM3 Update – The implementation of these laws varies across the four nations of the UK and hence full implementation of WM3 also varies. WM3 is being introduced to each of the four UK nations at different times:

Wales: end of July 2015. Under Welsh law, a two week consultation of the proposed amendments is required – this started on the 1st June and details can be found here:-
Until the laws are amended, we understand that Wales is following the same transitional arrangements as in England.
Further to recent major changes to waste classification and CLP Regulation 1272/2008/EC which replaces both the Dangerous Substances Directive (DSD) and Dangerous Preparations Directives (DPD) https://www.hazwasteonline.com/default.aspx have released a new classification engine that follows both the new WM3 guidance and current regulations.
