“The centre continues to operate in a very professional manner – an approach which is reflected through the high quality of learners’ portfolios. Their portfolios are well-structured, cross referenced and very easy to navigate. Portfolios show a good variety of evidence and assessors have made good use of photo evidence alongside personal narrative for Level 2 learners.
Learners have regular contact with their assessors and this is well monitored by the centre to ensure that learners can progress. The centre regularly reviews its policies and procedures and, in particular, has put in place updated Appeals, Maladministration and Internal Verification procedures.
Trainee assessors are well supported with supportive feedback and internal verification is robust with constructive feedback to maintain and improve standards. The centre is to be complimented on its focus to promote learners to provide as much personalisation of evidence as possible”
