Soil waste classification and management expert and Principal Consultant Andrew Howlett, recently delivered a bespoke one-hour presentation on ‘Soil Management and the Interpretation of Site Investigation Reports’ to a major Scottish Construction Contractor.

The aim of the presentation was to help the contractor’s staff understand their Duty of Care obligations with regard to managing waste soils and the associated financial and legal risks. It was also designed to highlight all the possible disposal options available for soils and how to assess which options may be suitable from the information contained within the site investigation report.
