Job Title: Office Administrator/HR/ BMS Co-ordinator

Job Role: In my current role with Albion I am  involved with the up keep and administration of the Business Management System (BMS) standards and accreditation together with tenders, social media, and a range of administrative duties to support the consultancy and business development team. My HR responsibilities include updating all staff files and training records as well and coordinating recruitment campaigns and assisting with inducting and integrating new staff.

Experience:I have over 25 years’ experience in the private sector having worked for a cross section of major blue-chip companies. My key skills and experiences are in organisational, administrative and coordination roles, mainly providing support to senior teams, directors and Corporate Boards.

Favourite project I’ve worked on: Whilst colleagues have specific key projects to focus on, I am a little different in my role as an administrator providing support across the company. However, I have enjoyed taking on more responsibility and ownership of the Albion’s Business Management System (BMS) which in itself has allowed me to assist with support for both business development and customer support in this area.

Although not directly Albion related, I also enjoy playing a key role in the administration and marketing of the Scottish Waste Industry, Training Competency, H&S Forum ( SWITCH). This role focusses on communicating and liaising with Waste Sector organisations across Scotland to provide a focus and leadership for all aspects of health and safety as well as education, training and competence issues across the waste sector.

Get to Know Me:I used to be a member and race in the  Portsmouth Schoolboy Motorbike Scrambling club and was the only girl in my time to participate. I won rider of the year but not for my ability but more for my progression from a novice to be able to compete with confidence in a then “boy’s” world.

In my latter years I trained at Highbury College of Technology and qualified as a chef. My 3-week placement was at Windsor Castle. During this time one of my key achievements was coming runner up in the Hotelympia Catering competition held while I was completing my training at college.G

When I’m not working, you’ll find me at the gym or walking my dogs around the beautiful Ayrshire countryside. On a rainy day I love nothing more than a good jigsaw whilst watching black and white movies and period dramas on Netflix.
