Albion Environmental is pleased to announce the completion of a Compositional Waste Analysis for Oran Environmental Solutions.
The data provided by a Compositional Waste Analysis can be a key tool for local authorities and waste management companies to:
- Monitor and improve existing recycling schemes,
- Implement and develop new recycling schemes,
- Assess the input materials and the quality of recycled products in Materials Recycling and Treatment Facilities.
The work completed for Oran Environmental Solutions included an analysis of blue bin waste from different samples within Fife Council area (Coupar). A bespoke methodology based on Zero Waste Scotland was utilised for the project. The analysis took place during 4 days in January 2014 and was conducted by Jonathan Love. The results of the analysis will be helpful to assess the contamination of the blue bin in that area.
