Scottish Parliament Modern Apprentice Awarded Level 3 Facilities Management Certificates

 

Congratulations to Mamunoor Rahman on completing his Facilities Management Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship.

Mamunoor has been working with the Scottish Parliament for just over a year, having moved from a career in retail and taking a gap year. He attended a local community event where he was made aware of the opportunities Scottish Parliament were offering young people to train towards gaining a modern apprenticeship in various roles within the organisation.

During training Mamunoor was involved in a major project to help improve an aspect of the Scottish Parliament and he and his other team members chose to develop a contactless payment method which has been a great success and has now been implemented throughout the parliament building.

We were delighted to visit Scottish Parliament to present Mamunoor with his Facilities Management SQA and Modern Apprenticeship certificates and wish him every success for his future career!

Albion Environmental Ltd are a Skills Development Scotland registered training provider and deliver Modern Apprenticeships  in Facilities Services/Management and Sustainable Resource Management.  Modern Apprenticeships provide young people with an excellent opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification whist gaining valuable work experience and earning a salary.  The program also benefits businesses as a modern apprentice can introduce new fresh ideas and help sustain a skilled workforce.
