Welcome to issue 5 of our \’Meet the Team\’ blog!

We hope you are enjoying getting to know the great people who make up the Albion team. For our fifth instalment we are introducing you to one of our Senior Consultant\’s Gerry.

Job Role: My role is to provide technical and regulatory advice to clients in their planning , licensing, operational and construction needs. My supportive role also covers renewable energy such as wind turbines, solar panel farms and energy produced from landfill gas. I also provide mentoring to members of the Albion team.

Experience: I was initially involved in the construction sector and then moved into the waste sector some 33 years ago. I have been working with Albion now for just over 11 years.

Favourite project I\’ve worked on at Albion: I have worked on many great projects with Albion. However, the project that I enjoyed the most was managing Shewalton Landfill Site on behalf of North Ayrshire Council. The Council made me feel part of the team and I was able to use my skills to allow the site to be run more efficiently and was also able to develop a good team made up of Council staff.

Get to know me: I\’m a keen golfer and when I\’m not working you can guarantee to find me on the golf course!
