Albion Environmental Limited recently helped Billy Bowie Special Projects Ltd set up procedures in order to attain the PAS 100:2005 accreditation from the Association for Organics Recycling for their composting operation at their Moorfield Industrial Estate site in Kilmarnock. A quality management system was set up along with corresponding quality control documentation. These were reviewed with site staff and tool-box talks set up with key personnel to ensure all training points were covered. Guidance and ongoing system reviews are carried out on a regular basis.
Albion Environmental Ltd also submitted the PPC application on behalf of Billy Bowie for their Vertical Composting Units (VCU) Operations. The site recently became an Approved Animal By-Products Premises by the State Veterinary Service.
