At Albion Environmental we like to make sure our clients and fellow workers in the industry are kept up to date with training and ensure regulations are always being adhered to. Therefore, we are excited to announce new dates for our Asbestos Awareness Training courses!
To make life as simple as possible, we have developed a short course to give workers whose role involves operating on contaminated land and/or waste management sites an introduction to the dangers of Asbestos.
Our course provides information in line with legal requirements set out in Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations (CAW) 2012, that requires all workers who may be exposed to Asbestos during their work (and those who supervise them) to receive suitable training.
Considering the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, we are offering this as a virtual course which will be conducted via Zoom.
The information delivered at the training will meet the recommendations set out on Section 235 of L143 the HSE’s Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) and Guidance for “Managing & Working with Asbestos”.
The training will consist of one half day session conducted online at the following time:
Tuesday 29th June 9am – 1pm
You can book now by clicking here.
The cost is £125 per person.
Upon completion of this course delegates can boast the following
- Understanding of the dangers arising from exposure to Asbestos
- Awareness of the 3 main types of Asbestos & the main diseases related to Asbestos exposure
- Understanding of the general emergency procedures should Asbestos be discovered or disturbed

Note, attendees will be emailed Zoom meeting details upon registering for the course.
