Frontline Services Training Delivered to nearly 100 Local Authority operatives over 8 days.
Albion Environmental Ltd were pleased to be appointed by WRAP & Zero Waste Scotland to deliver Frontline Services training to East Dunbartonshire Council employees.
The purpose of the contract was to deliver ZWS communication training to East Dunbartonshire Council’s collection crews and others as deemed appropriate by ZWS and the Council.
This training was delivered to support a major change to the existing collection system which was being rolled out across the whole area. After the course staff were much more confidant in the changes being implemented and could act as the front line to answer and address any queries from the public

Organise and manage an initial scoping meeting with the Council.
Organise, manage and deliver training. This will include:
· Liaise with the Council to arrange dates and a venue for the training.
· Customise the training to meet the Council’s requirements for introducing a source segregated food waste collection, a new recycling collection and moving non-recyclable collections to a fortnightly cycle.
· Deliver the training at the agreed times and venue.
· Provide a brief report to ZWS on the outcomes of the training to include the names of attendees for certification by ZWS.
At the end of 8 days of training arranged over a three week period, 97 employees benefited from the training and the feedback was very positive from all departments.
