Albion Environmental Ltd. has recently got new approvals from the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) for the course “First Aid”
Drivers who require Driver CPC in order to comply with EU legislation are the target audience for this course.
The contents of this course are:
(1) Understand the Aims of First Aid
(2) Deal with an Unconscious Casualty (Recovery Position)
(3) Conduct Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
It is possible to get additional certification after this course, because it follows the syllabus of the Level 2 (QCF) Award in Emergency First Aid (accredited through Qualsafe) and is recognised by the HSE as complying with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations to allow successful delegates to act as emergency first aiders in the workplace. This additional certification is available on successful completion of an additional test and certification fee.
The JAUPT manages on behalf of the Competent Authorities in the UK, the approval and quality assurance of centres and courses delivering Periodic Training, in line with the requirements set out in the European Union (EU) Directive on Initial and Periodic Training.
