Albion Environmental is pleased to announce the completion of a Compositional Waste Analysis for a material reprocessing and recycling company. The analysis took place during 4 days in February 2014 and was conducted by Jonathan Love and his team.
The client was concerned regarding the level of contamination with the recyclate and wished to have some analysis carried out which could then be discussed with the customer. A bespoke methodology was prepared largely based on the current Waste Compositional Analysis guidance produced by ZWS. The method was adapted to suit customer requirements and ensure the categories suited the type of material being handled. The work completed included an analysis of dry recyclate bin waste from different samples within the area.
The results of the analysis are being used to improve the quality of the recycled products at the Materials Recycling and Treatment. Information is also being supplied to the original customer so that they can inform the public and make necessary improvements as required.
