\’Albion Environmental Ltd are delighted to hear from SEPA that Barrachander Quarry Ltd in Taynuilt just 11 miles east of Oban, have been awarded their Waste Management Licence to operate a new recycling facility at their existing quarry facility, Barrachander Quarry. This new facility is to provide for the keeping, screening, sorting, transfer and recycling of plastic, wood, paper,cardboard, metals, construction, demolition, commercial and industrial non-hazardous wastes. This new facility will bring Zero Waste\’s National Policy of reducing waste to landfill to another area of Scotland where no recycling facilities exist.
