Alasdair Meldrum has completed his V2 award, which now means he is a fully qualified External Verifier (EV). Alasdair was appointed by SQA to carry out External verification of other SQA centres back in 2007. Since then he has completed external verification visits at a number of centres across Scotland. SQA provided the training and mentoring to allow Alasdair to complete his V2. Alasdair commented
“ I am delighted to finally complete this award, it had been substantially complete in early 2009 however I needed to gather one last bit of evidence from a visit and I was only able to achieve this in May 2009. I thoroughly enjoy completing EV work on behalf of SQA and in particular enjoy attending the various centres who all work in slightly different ways but all approach vocational qualifications with a high degree of enthusiasm. It also allows me to share and gain good practice from a range of centre experiences”.
