We work with our clients to provide:
- Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) Review. An independent review providing feedback on the suitability and sufficiency of existing RAMS. Can include contractor management, safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
- H&S Audits, identifying compliance with existing RAMS and gap analysis. This provides local / area managers with the confirmation that existing H&S processes and procedures are being adhered and that suitable steps are identified and taken to address any non-compliant areas.
- Regulatory Health and Safey Audits, reviewing compliance with the relevant Statutory Regulations including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM Regs), COSHH etc. A critical look at how a project/site is being managed. Will look at activities undertaken on site, and identifies any gaps in contractor management. Will look at work at height practices, traffic management, lifting operations and application of CDM. This audit provided Directors and owners with evidence that the business’s existing H&S process and procedures are fit for purpose and /or require further development. Very similar to an unannounced site visit by the HSE but without the fear of enforcement.
- CDM advice for Client, Principal Designer, Designer and Principal Contractor. The modification and construction of engineering works within a waste facility are covered by the CDM Regs. Albion can provide advice at the beginning of a project to ensure Clients meet their obligations under the CDM Regs.
