DESCRIPTION:Albion Environmental will be running a two-day course (16 hours
  contact time) on Tuesday 17th &amp\; 24th November at The Robertson Trus
 t\, Glasgow. This course is jointly awarded with the Royal Environmental H
 ealth Institute of Scotland (REHIS).  The cost for this course is £699 i
 nc VAT.\n\nThis two-day course is designed to provide an understanding of 
 the legislation relating to the Waste Management industry and provides ba
 ckground knowledge and understanding for WAMITAB candidates.\n\nThe course
  is suitable for those new to the Industry\, anyone starting or completing
  WAMITAB COTC awards or experienced managers who require to be kept abreas
 t of recent changes.  In addition\, you will receive an accredited certif
 icate upon completion of the course.\n\nThe aim of our course is to provid
 e an understanding and the ability to apply the practical aspects on the f
 ollowing areas:\n\n 	The Definition of Waste\n 	The Duty of Care\n 	Regist
 ration of Carriers\n 	Special Waste Regulations\n 	Transport of Wastes (In
 cluding Dangerous Goods)\n\nThrough a mixture of lecturing\, case studies 
 and exercises our trainer will cover the following areas on the course:\n\
 n 	The Definition of Waste\n 	Registration of Carriers\n 	Duty of Care\n 	
 EWC Codes Special Waste Regulations &amp\; Consigning Special Waste\n 	Car
 riage of Dangerous Goods (By Road)\n 	Storage of Hazardous/Special Wastes\
 n 	Environmental Monitoring\n 	Health &amp\; Safety Management\n
