DESCRIPTION:Albion Environmental will be running a two-day course (16 hours
  contact time) on Wednesday 16th &amp\; 23rd September at The Robertson T
 rust\, Glasgow. This course is jointly awarded with the Royal Environmenta
 l Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS).  The cost for this course is £69
 9 inc VAT.\n\nThis two-day course is designed to provide an understanding 
 of the legislation relating to the Waste Management industry and provides
  background knowledge and understanding for WAMITAB candidates.\n\nThe cou
 rse is suitable for those new to the Industry\, anyone starting or complet
 ing WAMITAB COTC awards or experienced managers who require to be kept abr
 east of recent changes.  In addition\, you will receive an accredited cer
 tificate upon completion of the course.\n\nThe aim of our course is to pro
 vide an understanding and the ability to apply the practical aspects on th
 e following areas:\n\n 	The Definition of Waste\n 	The Duty of Care\n 	Reg
 istration of Carriers\n 	Special Waste Regulations\n 	Transport of Wastes 
 (Including Dangerous Goods)\n\nThrough a mixture of lecturing\, case studi
 es and exercises our trainer will cover the following areas on the course:

 n 	EWC Codes Special Waste Regulations &amp\; Consigning Special Waste\n 	
 Carriage of Dangerous Goods (By Road)\n 	Storage of Hazardous/Special Wast
 es\n 	Environmental Monitoring\n 	Health &amp\; Safety Management\n
