SUMMARY:REHIS – Introduction to Waste Management
DESCRIPTION:Albion Environmental will be running a one-day course (8 hours 
 contact time) on Thursday 17th April 2025. This course is jointly awarded
  with the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS).  The 
 cost for this course is £360 inc VAT.\n\nThis training course provides a
  detailed understanding of the legislation relating to the Waste and Resou
 rce Management industry and provide the necessary level of knowledge for a
 nyone dealing with waste on a day to day basis. In addition\, you will rec
 eive an accredited certificate upon completion of the course.\n\nOur one-d
 ay REHIS course is ideal for the following individuals:\n\n 	Candidates wi
 shing to improve their knowledge of Waste Management\n 	Staff who regularl
 y handle waste and covers legal responsibilities\n 	New employees to the i
 ndustry\n 	Builders and Facility Managers/ Maintenance Contractors\n\nThe 
 aim of our course is to provide an understanding of the main requirements 
 of the “Duty of Care” with regards to Waste Management. In addition\, 
 to clarify various wastes correctly.\n\nThrough a mixture of lecturing\, c
 ase studies and exercises our trainer will cover the following areas on th
 e course:\n\n 	Definition of Waste\n 	Impact of Waste\n 	Identifying Waste
 \n 	Classification of Waste including correct EWC codes\n 	Duty of care 
 – responsibilities in the “waste chain”\n
