SUMMARY:REHIS – Introduction to Waste Management
DESCRIPTION:Albion Environmental will be running a one-day course (8 hours 
 contact time) on Tuesday 18th November 2025. This course is jointly award
 ed with the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS).  Th
 e cost for this course is £360 inc VAT.\n\nThis training course provides
  a detailed understanding of the legislation relating to the Waste and Res
 ource Management industry and provide the necessary level of knowledge for
  anyone dealing with waste on a day to day basis. In addition\, you will r
 eceive an accredited certificate upon completion of the course.\n\nOur one
 -day REHIS course is ideal for the following individuals:\n\n 	Candidates 
 wishing to improve their knowledge of Waste Management\n 	Staff who regula
 rly handle waste and covers legal responsibilities\n 	New employees to the
  industry\n 	Builders and Facility Managers/ Maintenance Contractors\n\nTh
 e aim of our course is to provide an understanding of the main requirement
 s of the “Duty of Care” with regards to Waste Management. In addition\
 , to clarify various wastes correctly.\n\nThrough a mixture of lecturing\,
  case studies and exercises our trainer will cover the following areas on 
 the course:\n\n 	Definition of Waste\n 	Impact of Waste\n 	Identifying Was
 te\n 	Classification of Waste including correct EWC codes\n 	Duty of care 
 – responsibilities in the “waste chain”\n
