Are you a driver in the Waste Industry?
Do you need your:
- Driver CPC updated?
- Do you work in the waste sector or move waste?
Then we have the ideal training for you.
Our JAUPT approved Driver CPC Driving in the Waste Industry course is aimed to give participants an introduction to the legislation and paperwork associated with Driving in the Waste Management Industry.
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has advised that they will allow approved periodic trainers temporary authorisation to deliver approved courses remotely via digital platforms.
We know that for some during this UK wide emergency situation, training may not be a top priority, however if you need to complete your CPC training this may be a way to keep your driver’s CPC training up to date, so that when the industry is getting back to normal it will be one less area that you need to concern yourself with?
At Albion we are considering delivering this training remotely and are currently trying to gauge the size of the market.
This may be an opportunity for your staff with available capacity to arrange for their annual CPC update to take place while there is some downtime. Also, if staff have been furloughed then under the government rules, they are allowed to attend training (providing they receive the minimum wage).
Our course approved for CPC training will still need to be delivered over 7 hours; but this may be in two 3.5-hour sessions over consecutive days.
We still will need to ensure the usual conditions of course approval is met, and that any online forum is suitable for remote auditing and we will maintain appropriate records for quality assurance.
Course content and detail can be find here
The course is ideal for drivers who are either looking to work or already work in the Waste and Resource Management Industries.
At Albion, we are always looking for ways to help our customers, which is why we are confident that we can meet the requirements to deliver this remotely and wish to gauge the appetite from potential customers.
If this is something you would be keen to explore;
Please let us know and we can set up the necessary motions to get approval for remote delivery.
