Do your employees require a rounding of the essentials in health in safety?
Regardless of sector there is a legal requirement that requires all workers who may be exposed to Asbestos during their work (and those that supervise them) to receive suitable training.
We have developed a bespoke course to give workers whose role involves operating within the Waste Industry or on Contaminated Land an introduction to the dangers of Asbestos in line with the legal requirement set out in “Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012”.
The training is designed to meet the requirements of these regulations and provide the information recommended in Section 235 of L143 the HSE’s Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) and Guidance for “Managing & Working with Asbestos”
Our ½ day, jargon-free course designed to be inclusive yet highly effective, and can be delivered in-house to up to 12 candidates.
Through a mixture of lecturing, case studies and exercises our highly experienced trainers will take you through the following 3 objectives:
- Understand the dangers arising from exposure to Asbestos.
- Gain awareness of the 3 main types of Asbestos & the main diseases related to Asbestos exposure.
- Understand the general emergency procedures should Asbestos be discovered or disturbed.
