Did you know there is a training course that can equip you with the skills to effectively communicate important messages to your staff and work colleagues? Albion’s Tool Box Talk training course is jointly certificated by The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) and consists of the following 6 modules:
- Why people learn
- Motivation and learning
- Question and answer technique
- Constructive feedback
- Principles of good instruction
- Delivering theory and skills training sessions
The course is suited to anyone who has a responsibility for inducting staff, delivering Tool Box Talks and passing on safety critical information for example risk assessments to their staff. The duration of the course is 10 hours which consists of 2 hours advance preparation followed by 8 hours classroom training and confirmation of learning is achieved by candidates delivering a successful ten minute talk.
