Albion Environmental completed Phase 1 of a Compositional Waste Analysis study for South Ayrshire Council in December 2014. The study involved the collection and analysis of residual waste, mixed dry recyclates and food waste from a sample of 250 households in the council area. The study was conducted in accordance with the ‘Guidance on the Methodology for Waste Compositional Analysis’ For local authorities commissioning waste composition analysis of municipal waste’. Phase 2 of the study is due for completion in Feb/Mar 2015.
