Environmental Technician

Salary £16,500 - £19,500 plus van
Albion Environmental Ltd provides training and consultancy services to a range of clients across the UK. We have an immediate vacancy for an Environmental Technician to complete environmental monitoring work for clients in Scotland. Work may suit a recent environmental or engineering graduate.
The ideal candidate will have a practical approach to field work and dealing with clients; and have excellent organisational and IT Skills. A driving licence is also essential.

Environmental Assistant (casual)

Salary £8.00 /hour
Albion Environmental Ltd provides training and consultancy services to a range of clients across the UK. Due to varying workload we have an immediate vacancy for an Environmental Assistant to assist with environmental monitoring and waste analysis work for clients in Scotland. Due to the casual nature of this work it may suit a semi retired person.
The ideal candidate will have a practical approach to field work and dealing with clients; and have excellent organisational skills. A driving licence is also essential.

Clerical or Office Administrator

As a small business we are always interested in hearing from experienced clerical or administration staff. The ideal candidate would have a range of skills to cover the following work.

book keeping (Sage)
secretarial support for Director
good knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
experience of preparing mail shots and co-ordinating marketing activities
preparation of documents for formal submission
maintenance of admin system.

Work – office based in Ayr.
Part, flexi or full time possible.

Waste Management / Civil Engineer

We would be keen to hear from any staff with experience in the waste management industry, particularly civil engineers. As there are no current vacancies we would expect a candidate to generate there own fee paying work within the first six months. Ideally this would suit a candidate with 2-3 years experience who is looking to broaden and improve their career prospects.

Key skills would include

A systematic and common sense approach to work activities
Good IT skills including for example AutoCAD
Practical experience in the waste management sector
Ability to project manage and control work load

Travel – work would include travel and work away from home on a regular basis.

We are always interested in hearing from candidates who can train and assess in the range of WAMITAB awards.

Training Staff

In addition to our waste management training we provide a range of Health and Safety training and also computer training (via PC Passport).

We would be interested to hear from any candidates who have experience in delivering in these areas.
