|Levenseat Ltd – Landfill site operator, based in the east of Scotland, with a number of waste treatment operations including waste transfer station, composting plant, leachate treatment and power generation system requested a system to meet EN ISO 14001:2004, Environmental Management Systems.||Reviewed all systems and developed management system to meet EN ISO 14001:2004, Environmental Management Systems. Work commenced October 2008 and first audit was completed by BSI May 2009. Full approval was gained December 2009. Albion has since been retained to help maintain the system and help complete the internal audit programme. To date only one minor non conformances has been received in that period.|
|Albion Environmental Ltd – Development of an integrated management system to requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008, Quality Management System, EN ISO 14001:2004, Environmental Management Systems and OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Systems Management standards for our own company. Albion specialises in providing health, safety and environmental consultancy and training to the waste and construction sectors. We had the typical issue of small businesses where the business was growing with limited funds.||Full preparation of system for, in some cases the very bespoke work we carry out. Initial system audit was May 2009, with accreditation being achieved November 2009. Our own Integrated management system has been in place since 2009. We updated and streamlined the system in late 2010 early 2011 to reduce paperwork and duplication in some areas of our manual.|
|Asset & Land Group – Asset and land Group encompassed a range of 6 companies from crane hire to waste management, based near Manchester. Each company had varying management systems in place but none had OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Systems Management standards.||Review and update all company managements systems so they met all three standards. Work commenced Jan. 2010 with initial system audit being completed July 2010 and approval visit being completed August 2010. Company now has a standardised system across all companies which has greatly benefited the company in providing a consistent and cost effective approach.|
|Kelburne Construction Ltd – Kelburne Construction Ltd who provide construction services to a range of blue chip companies in the west of Scotland needed to upgrade their quality system to include environmental standard.||Reviewed all systems and developed management system to meet EN ISO 14001:2004, Environmental Management Systems. Full approval was gained September 2009.|
|Glencoe Mountain resort – Glencoe Mountain resort at Glencoe runs a chairlift business, ski centre and a number of cafes. The company is also diversifying in to mountain biking and archery. The company has no management system in place but was keen to have system in place to manage risks to environment and to health and safety.||System has been developed to meet requirements of EN ISO 14001:2004, Environmental Management Systems and OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Systems Management standards. System is now in place and being implemented by the company.|
