Due to the continuing expansion of the work carried out by Albion Environmental Waste and Environmental Consultancy and Albion Environmental SQA / WAMITAB Centre they have been incorporated into the one company Albion Environmental Limited. The Company was incorporated on 20th August 2003 and will commence trading on 1st September 2003. The Company Registration Number is 254498.

The Director’s would like to take the opportunity to thank the existing customers for their support for the last two years and will endeavour to provide the same high quality of service they have come to expect.

WAMITAB and Northern Ireland Environment and Heritage Service are holding a series of seminars on the 10th, 11th and 12th September 2003 in Northern Ireland. Until now there has been no requirement for managers of waste management facilities, in Northern Ireland, to hold a COTC. The legislation has now been brought up to date with the rest of the UK and it will now become a legal requirement to hold a COTC. Albion Environmental already has one trainer and assessor who lives and works in Northern Ireland, so is perfectly placed to assist with your training requirements.

Albion Environmental is pleased to announce a new course designed for drivers, weighbridge operators and staff who handle waste on behalf of their company.

The Course provides the legislative background and also provides a number of examples that are worked through by the candidate. The Course has been designed to:

• ensure staff understand the legal requirements
• ensure staff are capable of completing paperwork correctly
• ensure staff get practice in completing paperwork and allocating the correct European Waste Catalogue Code

Each candidate receives a simple laminated guide to refer to at a later date.
